Our guides make our online studio and community possible. Each guide is hand selected based on passion, dedication and discipline to the practice.

Karilynn

Karilynn's style is from the heart, challenging and creative. She believes creative expression unlocks the doors to self-love and self-acceptance. Having a strong dance background, she loves teaching smooth transitions between postures to guide her students into a state of flow where they can become fully present, connected to their highest selves, and mentally & physically at peace.

Shelby

Shelby sees each practice as an opportunity to connect more intimately with our purest and truest form. She uses the practice of vulnerability, breath, movement, and deep focus to sweetly challenge her students, while at the same time providing delicious release. Working towards a strong body and a still, radiant mind, her classes will teach you how to love yourself and love others to your greatest potential.

Eric’s teaching approach is one of creating intention, space, and awareness. He believes by breathing through postures and diving deep into ourselves, we will work to peel back the layers of consciousness together. Expect opportunities for both stillness and movement, as you travel toward deeper realizations for your life on and off the mat.

Jaclyn

Jaclyn teaches a soulful style of vinyasa yoga to reach the depth of emotions embedded within the complex body and mind systems. She views emotions that emerge both on and off the mat as an internal compass pointing us towards the wounded aspects of ourselves that, when given gentle attention, may rise higher so we can grow closer to our goals. From her class, expect dynamic breath work, mindful movement, fitness opportunities, and long, stirring holds. Her guidance is an expression of gratitude and devotion to soothe the heart, explore the body and celebrate this gift of life.

Alyse

Alyse has a degree in International Social Welfare and minor in Psychology. She is a 200hr RYT and is excited to share the healing she learned and received through yoga and meditation. Through her travels, whether personal or work-related, Alyse was moved by people's ability to heal from trauma, to find hope, and to keep believing in the goodness of humanity. Her classes are focused on creating space for internal healing to take root and blossom into every area of life.

April

After serving in combat in Afghanistan, April turned to yoga to learn more about basic human needs to promote her own recovery from PTSD and Fibromyalgia. April has completed over 500 hours of yoga training including; vinyasa yoga teacher training, RYS yoga teacher training, and certifications in thai yoga, trauma informed yoga, and yoga therapy. She enjoys teaching yin yoga, slow burn, vinyasa, and pranayama, while focusing on breath work, grounding, and release. April is passionate and excited to share with you the exceptionally healing powers of yoga!

As an instructor, Rose likes to concentrate on going within, making note of how you are feeling and how the postures/movements/breaths feel within you. She studied in the Sacred Valley of Perú, gaining her 200hr certificate in teaching Hatha and Vinyasa. She personally experienced that learning from individuals, whom have a deep passion for the subject they are teaching, makes the body’s energy radiate from within! Emily

As a designer I am constantly curious about the world around me and inspired to create positive change. Design is a place where I truly trust my gut instincts and allow myself a space to explore and discover, to breathe into the discomfort knowing there is always more to uncover. With each design project there is a story to tell, and as a designer I have a unique opportunity to pair that story with a visual experience that simplifies and communicates the most important message to a larger audience. I feel fortunate to be working with some truly astounding BA women, on projects that impact the world and seek to promote a community of awakened compassionate human beings and growing feeling of gratitude for all things.

As a designer I am constantly curious about the world around me and inspired to create positive change. As a graduate of Michigan State University, I pursued my passion in the Fine Arts, studying Painting and Photography, then later pursuing graphic and website design. As an artist, I am inspired by my experiences and environment, noticing the beauty in each detail finding a way to reflect it through my work. I am beyond thrilled to work with the amazing team at Unlocked, creating beautiful and impactful designs that truly reflect their mission. In my spare time, I love to travel the world, plan new adventures, and make memories with my family and friends.
